Distance: 6.8km (Out and back)

Elevation Gain: 780m

Rating: moderate

Remoteness: This is a popular hike. You will likely run in to other hikers on this one.

If you’re looking for a shorter hike, but still want a physical workout and good views, we recommend this hike!

This hike is 6.8km out and back, with about 780m of elevation gain. The elevation gain starts right from the get go, so be prepared to get warm fast! Once up on the ridge, the path is straight forward, and easy to follow. The peak provides a great panoramic view of the jagged peaks surrounding it. It makes for some pretty epic pictures!

We love doing this one earlier in the season, because it gets you back in to hiking shape, without being too long. We recommend proper footwear and equipment (crampons and poles) in the early season due to this hike being muddy and icy. The snow at the top is a great way to chill your beer though!
